摘要： After more than 20 years of reformation and opening-up to overseas, earth-shaking changes have occurred in China. China's economy has gotten stronger, and Chinese people live much better than any time of the past history, and the gap between China andother developed countries is being narrowed in per capita national income. At the same time, however, the deep conflicts accumulated during the long duration of planned economy are also being exposed. In agriculture, the grain outputhas being increased year after year but the fanner's income has being increased very little or even being decreased actually in many places since 1995. In the recent years, the sales of agricultural products are being more and more difficult, and the supply seems to exceed demand for most agricultural products in the markets. The price fluctuation is rather strong even for many famous and special superior products, and relative exceeds occur frequently. The reasons for the above phenomena could be multiple, but in my opinion, the household register system formed in the 1950's, which is the most important factor led to the present dualistic structures between cities and countryside, should be the fundamental reason of limitation of further economy development and social progress hi China.
